What Should I Do if My Tallow Cream Melts or Changes Texture?
If your tallow cream arrives a little soft—or even fully melted—don’t panic. That’s actually a sign you’ve bought the real thing. At Garden Club, we don’t use synthetic stabilizers, waxes, or emulsifiers to “fake” consistency. Our creams are made with pure, natural ingredients, and like any real fat, tallow reacts to temperature. Melting won’t affect the quality or performance of your product—it just needs a quick cool-down.
To reset the texture, simply place your jar in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes. It will firm back up to its natural, rich state. Keep in mind: our tallow is unwhipped, so even if it softens in warm weather, you’re still getting the full amount—no deflation, no wasted volume. That’s one of the reasons we avoid whipped textures altogether.
We’re proud to make skincare without shortcuts or shelf-stable gimmicks. A little melt is a small price for integrity. Pure, natural, and skin-loving—just as it should be.
