How to Store Your Tallow Cream in Hot Weather
Tallow cream is a natural product, and with that purity comes a little seasonal sensitivity—especially in the heat. Since we don’t use artificial stabilizers, waxes, or whipping agents at Garden Club, our tallow creams may soften or melt during summer shipping or if left in a hot car.
The good news? Melting doesn’t affect the quality or performance of the product. In fact, it’s a sign your cream is exactly what we say it is: real, clean, and uncompromised. To keep your tallow cream in top shape, we recommend storing it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If it arrives melted or too soft for your liking, just pop the jar in the fridge for 15–30 minutes—it’ll firm right back up.
Some customers even keep a backup jar in the fridge during summer for an extra-refreshing nighttime application. Think of it as your skincare chill zone. At Garden Club, we ship our tallow creams with seasonal care, and we offer insulated packaging options in hot-weather months. But ultimately, nature doesn’t always follow shipping schedules—and we’re proud of that. Because a product that melts is one that breathes. It’s alive, active, and made with integrity.
